Mortdale Tax and Accounting was founded in 2010 by our Director Lauren Faulks. We are a family run online accounting practice.
As an online firm we currently provide accounting advice and tax services to Australian residents overseas, around Australia, and most notably in the Georges River and Sutherland Shire areas.

Principal & Director
Lauren Faulks (nee Moule) grew up in Oatley. She started studying accounting in 2001. Lauren worked in public practice in Cronulla and Miranda before establishing Mortdale Tax & Accounting.
In her spare time, she enjoys teaching and performing music, hiking and handcrafts. She volunteers her time as treasurer and conductor of the St. George Brass Band.

Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting & Taxation 2006 from the University of NSW
Chartered Accountants program 2009

Our History
The practice was established by our Principal and Director in 2010 within a lovely little shop front located on Railway Pde Mortdale. We loved the small community atmosphere and position right next to public transport. As with every business we evolved ( with some assistance from the COVID pandemic and transisitoned to an online accounting practice.
